Notes: Nathan came to New England as a small child with Abraham Conley, his step-father. His name first appears in the records when he signed the Submission to Massachusetts in 1652. He was granted sixty (60) acres of salt marsh land by the town of Kittery, York, Maine, on December 16, 1652. Nathan's first wife was Judith Conley, his step-sister, and they were married April 28, 1653 and had 2 sons, Nathan and Abraham. Nathan married Martha EVERETT in 1659 in Kittery, York, Maine. No further mention of him at Dover. In 1716 land was laid out to Thomas Downes (his granddaughter’s husband), successor to William Everett, deceased. William married Margery WITHAM. 8. | Hari LORD was born about 1586 in Stackpole, Pembrokeshire, Wales. Notes: Hari Lord was a resident of Stackpole Court in Co Pembroke in Wales. The Lords were a family of Norman descent. It is thought that the name was originally La Vorde or De La Vorde. Called the "marcher barons", they were granted small estates along the borders of Wales. Their purpose there was to help control the Welsh border.
