Notes: Waldron graduated from the Brooklyn Academy and studied law before being admitted to practice law in Poughkeepsie, NY in May of 1867. That was after he served in the closing years of the Civil War, enlisting in the 37th New Jersey Volunteers, 10t h Army. Notes: Dr Alexander Dame studied medicine with Dr Dudley Hubbard in Dover, NH, and Berwick, ME. After completing his studies he returned to Riviere du Loup, passed the Examiners Board, and practiced there for 40 years. He served as Magistrate and Judge of the Courts, and was a devoted churchman. The Episcopal church in Riviere du Loup was the result of his almost sole effort.
